Ella Richardson, DVM

Dr. Richardson was born and raised in California to British parents (although, sadly, she no longer has the accent)!

She attended UC Davis undergraduate and Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine. After vet school, Dr. Richardson relocated to the east coast to complete a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, where she also met her fiance!

Before joining our team at EMMAvet in 2023 she spent the last few years in Philadelphia working in emergency medicine and general practice relief.

Dr. Richardson currently lives in Old Town Alexandria with her fiance and their two cats, Owen and Pistachio. Outside of work, you can probably find her unplugging in front of cringeworthy reality competition TV. She also enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, food and wine!
