Dr. Cowan relocated to Northern Virginia from Connecticut in 2026 and joined the EMMAvet Primary Care team in late summer.
She was born in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. Cowan practiced in Florida until 2023 when she moved to Connecticut.
She lives with her fiancé and two dogs: Betty the Basset and Newton the Dachshund.
